Meet Our Team

Andrea joined our team in 2008. She enjoys seeing the transition of our patients’ smiles to the final result of their treatment and loves meeting and watching our young patients as they grow. Andrea oversees the day-to-day needs of our patients, their parents and our team, and she makes sure that our patients and their families feel welcome and comfortable during their time with us.

Andrea is married and has two adult children and two grand-dogs. When not in the office, she enjoys walking, reading and spending time with her family.

Diane has been part of our dental family since October 2003! She loves watching our patients grow from children to young adults and seeing the amazing results from their treatments. She is often the first line of communication for patients with our office, and she works hard to help families feel welcome and comfortable when they arrive at our practice.

Diane is married and has two children and two wonderful grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, gardening and crafting.

Stephanie joined our team in 2022 and is a welcoming, friendly and warm personality at the front desk. She is always smiling and engaging patients, and she especially enjoys working with children. Stephanie loves being part of a practice with great teamwork and amazing coworkers.

Stephanie and her husband, Chad, have one son, two dogs; Maggie and Darby; and three cats, Abby, Finn and Willa. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Jessica graduated in July 2022 with her associates degree in business. She joined our practice in May 2023, and loves being part of a great team. When not in the office, Jessica can be found spending time with her two dogs.

Colleen joined our team in March 2022 and works at all three of our offices to help our practice run smoothly, from the front desk to marketing and keeping meetings on-track. She loves that we get to make people happier and more confident with their smile.

Colleen and her husband, Eric, have three children. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, cooking and going on vacations to new places.

April attended Career Training Academy before joining our team in November 2008. She started as an orthodontic assistant and eventually progressed to treatment coordinator, though sometimes her clinical skills are still needed. She is often the first person to meet our patients and loves seeing their smiles transform as they progress through treatment. April is a positive person and a great team player, and she goes the extra mile to help patients feel comfortable in our office.

April and her husband, Jeffrey, have one son. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, running, camping and being outdoors.

Melissa earned her dental hygiene certification at WCCC in 1996 and her bachelor’s degree in human services and science from Seton Hill University in 2000. She joined our team in 2000, and loves being part of a team that feels like family. Melissa absolutely loves the kids who come to DeMaria Family Orthodontics & Dentistry and works hard to create a friendly and positive environment for them. One of her favorite things is to see the happy faces of children when they arrive and when they leave.

Melissa and her husband of 12 years have one son, Rocko. When not in the office, she enjoys crafting and spending time with her family.

Holly joined DeMaria Family Orthodontics & Dentistry in April 2022. She keeps our office running smoothly and enjoys interacting with our patients and their parents.

Holly and her husband have one daughter, who is married. When not in the office she can be found spending time with her family and friends. She is also a Pittsburgh Penguins fan!

Leah attended Rock University for her bachelor’s degree in health science, and WCCC for her certification as a dental hygienist. She enjoys being part of a practice that is team oriented and where everyone is understanding, detail-oriented, passionate and positive. Leah is committed to continuously engaging her patients and their parents in oral health education and to providing a comfortable and friendly environment.

Leah is married to Matt. She is a Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoys gardening and watching TV and movies.

Sherry earned both her Bachelor of Science degree and her certification as a registered dental hygienist from the University of Pittsburgh. She joined our team in 1998, and enjoys being part of a dental practice where patients receive extra attention. Sherry is dedicated to providing her patients with quality care and to educating them on good oral hygiene.

Sherry and her husband have two children. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, working out, golfing, bowling, hiking, biking and gardening.

Beth earned her dental assisting diploma from the Western School of Health and Business Careers. She is X-ray certified and holds an associate degree in specialized business from BCI. She joined our team in July 2003 and has over 25 years of experience in the dental field, including orthodontics, pediatric and general dentistry. She is also cross trained to perform treatment coordinator duties. Beth loves creating beautiful smiles that last a lifetime and has built an excellent rapport with her patients to help make their experience as easy and comfortable as possible.

Beth is married and has two children. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, doing outdoor activities and traveling.

Heather graduated from Westmoreland County Community College, completing their dental assisting program in July 2019 and their expanded functions dental assisting program in March 2020. She joined our team in August 2020 and treats every patient as if they were her own family member. She loves seeing patients happy with their new smiles after their treatment is complete! Heather also orders all supplies and inventory for our office to ensure we can care for our patients and is often found helping other assistants.

Heather has one daughter. Outside the office she is a cake decorator and enjoys baking with her daughter and her niece and nephew.

Karen attended Allegheny County Community College’s two-year program in health care and dental training. She has been part of our team for over 16 years and enjoys being in a dental practice where the patient’s care and well-being are a priority and genuinely cared about. Karen arrives at the office each day with a great work ethic and always strives to be the best version of herself.

Karen has two sons. Outside the office, she enjoys walking, spending time with her friends and making memories with her family.

Kathy joined our team in January 2018 and loves interacting with our patients and helping them improve their smiles. She is committed to delivering quality care to each person she meets.

Elizabeth has been with DeMaria Family Orthodontics & Dentistry since April 2007, and she is passionate about patient care! As a certified orthodontic assistant and expanded functions dental assistant, Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience with her to the office every day.

Elizabeth and her husband, Jay, have two children and four grandchildren. When she is not at the office, she enjoys jazzercize and spending time with her family.
